A worksheet to use when teaching your students the difference between an inference and a prediction.

Inferring and predicting are valuable skills for students to apply when engaging with and responding to texts. However, it can sometimes be difficult distinguishing the difference between the two.

This worksheet provides a list ofย different scenarios and a list of ‘I think’ statements. The students must then decide which statements areย predictions and which are inferences.
